- Question: How does Go-Penny work
Go-Penny is your number one source for exciting auction shopping and absolutely unbelievable deals on brand new, brand name products, every day! This is how it works: To begin, you must first register and buy bids. The price per bid will vary depending on the Bid Pack you choose. Next you'll need to pick the item you're interested in and start bidding. You can either place a single bid at a time or use our AutoBid feature.
Once you place a bid, three (3) things will happen:- The price of the item goes up by a penny (depending on the auction type)
- The timer resets itself to allow other users to place a bid; similar to a physical auction where the host yells: "Going Once, Going Twice... Sold!"
- You are now the highest bidder. If you're on top when the timer runs out, and nobody else places a bid after you, you win the auction!
- Question: I've registered but haven't received a confirmation email. What should I do?
Depending on the e-mail provider that you're using, it can take a few minutes longer to receive the confirmation e-mail. You should verify the address you provided us when you registered (located in My Info) to make sure that it's accurate. Sometimes e-mail service providers blanket your account with a spam/junk mail filter, and they can make mistakes. Check your spam/junk mail folder for your confirmation message and be sure to add the e-mail address info@go-penny.com to your address book and/or Safe List.
